1st Gen Croton Nivada Grenchen CASD
$3,900.00Price
The CASD, which stands for Chronomaster (or in this case, Chronograph) Aviator Sea Diver, was built for adventurers and explorers. It's usage ranging from 40k feet in elevation to 200m below the sea. A truly beautiful and special watch made for those who long to see the world. This particular example, with reference 105-17899, is part of the very 1st generation of CASDs ever made. These lasted a very short amount of time from 1961-1962. These were also the only models to have the famous manual wind Venus caliber 210 beating inside them. The one presented today is in completely all original condition. Even down to the domed crystal. The original radium hands and markers have developed a gorgeous pumpkin patina on them which fully exudes vintage charm. The case is completely unpolished. One of the sharpest cases I’ve seen on these old CASDs. This is a very special watch and it is ready for it's very special owner!
