Jean Richard Aquastar 60

Jean Richard Aquastar 60

$750.00Price

Production years only lasted from 1958 to 1962 for these Jean Richard Aquastars, but they carry some of the most interesting history compared to any other watch. Up there with the Speedmaster and the Explorer, the Jean Richard Aquastar 60 is synonymous with history defining missions. Don Walsh, one of the pilots on the 1960 submarine mission to Mariana's Trench, decided to wear this model on his wrist (as opposed to a Rolex) to accompany him to the deepest part of the world.

This is why we love watches so much. The history of these little tools captures our attention and passion more than most other things. And this Jean Richard Aquastar 60 is a perfect example of that. Accompanied with a sturdy forest green canvas strap from Holben's Finest Watch Strap, this watch is beautiful to behold. The original matte black dial is in incredible condition while the original bezel spins freely as it should.
